Dr. James Chow is one of the Oral Maxillofacial Surgery specialists in Hong Kong with dual degrees in dentistry and medicine. He obtained his dental and medical degree from the Hong Kong University in 1988 and 1998 respectively. Dr. Chow also received his specialist training in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery in Hong Kong. He has been the director of the Brånemark Osseointegration Center in Hong Kong since 2001. He is also the honorary associate professor of the Hong Kong University and Shanghai Jiaotong University. Dr. Chow has expertise in dental implants and computer-aided surgery and is the pioneer in Asia in immediate dental implant loading, Zygomatic implants, guided surgery and navigational surgery. Outside the clinic, Dr. Chow is a renowned speaker internationally and his implant surgery broadcasted live on many international academic conferences. He has published many articles in international on loading with dental implants. His other interests include jaw reconstruction, cosmetic facial surgery and minimally invasive implant surgery, and maxillofacial procedures.
