Dr. Shusheng Wei is a dual specialist of root canal treatment (RCT) and periodontal treatment. He graduated from School of Stomatology, Hubei Medical University in Wuhan in 1997 with bachelor degree and master degree. He obtained the PhD degree from Peking University School of Stomatology in Beijing in 2000. Dr. Wei received his specialist training in Periodontics at the Department of Periodotology, Peking University and his specialist training in Root Canal Treatment at the Department of Endodontics, Capital Medical University in Beijing. He worked as an associate clinical professor at Capital Medical University for 10yeras. He went to work as a visiting scholar in Tokyo Medical and Dental University in Tokyo for one year in 2008. He has more than 20 years practice experience. He has expertise in complicated/failed root canal treatment under microscope. He won an award at the second place nationally in China and at the first place locally in North China on the Root Canal Treatment Nation Wide Contest hold by Dentsply in 2008. He has also good at gum disease treatment and implant. He is kind to patients with a lot patience. His concept is that for disease control the prevention is the most important.
